Chiang Dao - One Day Trekking

Local guide, Mr. Deecha will take you trekking in one of Thailand’s most beautiful national parks, the Pha Daeng National Park in Chiang Dao, Northern Chiang Mai province. Home to the 3rd highest mountain in Thailand, Doi Luang, 2225 meters above sea level. During the hike, you will see spectacular views of Doi Luang in the distance. We will follow ancient opium trade trails, the Pang Tad waterfall, and coffee plantations without other tourists in sight. We will enjoy the beauty of this rainforest and its diverse flora and fauna, with big old trees and beautiful vines and bamboo growth. This trek will offer you a more authentic experience than any other. The hike will be 9 - 12 kilometers depending on the weather and season. A medium fitness level is required!

Please note that we will not climb the summit of Doi Luang with this hike.

I have been to hiking trips to Chiang Dao and Doi Inthanon with PM Tours. Both ones were excellent. The trips are very different by the content. That means that PM Tours is a real professional in selecting the guides and destinations for their customers. I felt that they really were on one tune with my needs and expectations. Best recommendations if you are in Chiang Mai!
