This diverse trip will take you to a Karen Elephant Project, where you will feed and bathe with the elephants. After this, we start to explore the jungles of Mae Wang and Doi Inthanon, spend the night in a Karen hill-tribe village, and raft down the Mae Wang river on a bamboo raft. We will take you on a fantastic one-day trekking with the guides of Maewin and Family in the northern area of Mae Wang National Park, bordering Doi Inthanon National Park, about 1,5 hours south of Chiang Mai. This area is known for its green rolling hills, Karen tribal villages, and waterfalls. Trek through local villages, rain forest and visit three waterfalls along the way. You will even visit a hidden jungle beach for a refreshing bath!

Mae Wang National Park - Two day trekking

We will take you on a fantastic two-day trekking in the northern area of Mae Wang National Park, bordering Doi Inthanon National Park, about 1,5 hours south of Chiang Mai. The friendly and knowledgeable guides of Maewin and Family Trekking will make sure that you will enjoy this hiking adventure to the fullest. Growing up in this area and as Karen tribal members, the guides share a wealth of information about the forest and tribal culture. You will spend the night at their village in a local house built of wood and bamboo. The house looks out over the forest and mountains in the distance.

Walk Only Trekking - Three Days

Mae Wang National Park - Three day trekking

We will take you on a fantastic three-day trekking in Chiang Mai with Maewin and Family Trekking. Visit tribal villages and multiple waterfalls along the way. We spend the first night in their village in a wooden house looking out over the mountains. On the second day, we will hike through the rain forest on our way to Huay Khao Leap Village. We spend our second night in this Karen Village enjoying the chilly weather in the evening and delicious food prepared by the ladies in the village. This three-day trek is only for serious hikers!

Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain in Thailand. Join us on a day trip to Doi Inthanon National Park, known for fresh air, beautiful flora and fauna, waterfalls, hill tribes, and scenic views. Follow a local hill-tribe guide on the Kew Mae Pan trail and enjoy the fantastic views. Make sure you bring some warm clothing because the climate is cooler year-round. The average daily temperatures are 10 – 15 °C on the summit.
