Kanta Elephant Sanctuary - Full day

Kanta Elephant Sanctuary is an ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project located approximately 50 kilometers north of the city of Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand. We offer a pleasant and ethical way of meeting, feeding, and touching the elephants in the stunning Mae Taeng Valley.

Kanta offers a retirement home for elephants who have previously worked hard for tourism entertainment or the logging industry. Feed, walk with and observe our beautiful rescued elephants as they roam throughout our sanctuary, socialize and bathe in the river and watch the elephants cover themselves in thick mud as they would in the wild.

With the full-day program, assist in preparing food and herbal medicine, feeding, bathing the elephants, and enjoying a mud bath together. We highly recommend Kanta for families with younger children because of its comfortable transportation and helpful, easy-going guides. Lunch will be included in the full-day package.

Children 3 to 9 years of age pay only 2000 Baht for entrance. Children 1 to 2 years of age can join the trip for free.
