Kanta Elephant Sanctuary - Full day
Kanta Elephant Sanctuary is an ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project located approximately 45 kilometers from the city of Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand. Founded in March 2015. An happy and ethical way of meeting, feeding and touching the elephants in the wild open space of Mae Taeng area.
We offer a retirement home for elephants who have previously worked hard for tourism entertainment or the logging industry. Feed, walk with and observe our beautiful rescued elephants as they roam throughout our sanctuary, socialize and bathe in the river and watch the elephants cover themselves in thick mud as they would do in the wild.
Children 3 to 9 years of age pay only 2000 Baht entrance. Children 1 - 2 years of age can join the trip for free.
