Chiang Rai is Thailand's northernmost province. It borders Myanmar and Laos at the famous Golden Triangle and is home to the fantastic White Temple, the Long Neck tribes, and the Mekong River. Chiang Rai has a lot to offer for those who love art, culture, and scenic landscapes.

We will take you on an adventure to the land of hill tribes, poppy fields, smugglers, and drug lords. This area used to be the frontier of the US war on drugs, and you can still feel the atmosphere of this exciting place. We will visit the jaw-dropping White Temple, Mae Kachan hot springs, the Black House Museum, the Blue Temple, the Golden Triangle, and take a boat trip on the Mekong River.

Itinerary & Practicalities

Price: 2000 THB

• Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai between 7:00 – 7:30 AM

• Visit hot springs (20 minutes)

• White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) (45 minutes)

• Golden Triangle (+/- 1 hour)

• Boat trip on the Mekong River

• Black House Museum

• Blue Temple

• Visit Longneck tribe village (30 minutes)

• Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai around 10:00 PM

Included in price: Boat ticket, Long neck tribe ticket, White Temple ticket, English-speaking guide, transportation, lunch, and insurance.
