The Sticky Waterfalls Explorer is the most popular and diverse cycling trip in Chiang Mai. The combination of mountain biking through the jungle on single- and dual-track dirt roads, a visit to the stunning Mae Kuang Reservoir, and the fascinating Sticky Waterfalls has been an enormous success. We will start the day at the stunning Mae Kuang Reservoir, using a local longtail boat to cross the lake. When we reach the other side of the lake, we will start our mountain bike adventure following single and dual-track dirt roads through the jungle. After 3 - 4 hours, we will arrive at the Sticky Waterfalls for a relaxing bath and to climb the sticky rock formations. We also visit a nearby bat cave and stalagmite cave.
After a delicious and well-deserved lunch, we will drive back to the Trailhead office or your accommodation upon request. The Sticky Waterfall Explorer tour is suitable for people of all ages but with a basic fitness level. Guests have the option to skip sections of the ride upon request and use the support vehicle depending on the level of fitness.

08:30 am - Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Trailhead office
09:00 am - Welcome, introduction, complimentary coffee, meet the team, and briefing on the cycling tour
09:15 am - Start transfer to the Mae Kuang Reservoir
10.00 am - Arrive at the start point and take a long tail boat across Mae Kuang Reservoir
10.45 am - Begin the cycling adventure through the beautiful Thai countryside and jungle
11:45 am - Explore Luang cave and see the thousands of bats and other wildlife
2:00 pm - Arrive at Sticky Waterfall and enjoy a refreshing cool down
3:00 pm - Enjoy a delicious Thai lunch and energizing coconut
4:00 pm - Program wrap-up and transfer back to Trailhead office or hotel
5:00 pm - Arrive at the Trailhead office or your hotel
What to wear/bring - Loose-fitting clothes, shorts, outdoor shoes, sunscreen, and your camera.
Restrictions: We have no minimum age, but we require the person to be at least 140 centimeters tall. We have size S, M, L, XL bikes available.
