Elephant Nature Park - Single day visit

Established in 1990, Elephant Nature Park is the original elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai. They aim to provide a sanctuary and rescue center for elephants. The park is located 60 kilometers north of Chiang Mai and provides a refuge for dozens of injured, abused and rescued elephants from all over Thailand.

The park is set in a natural valley, surrounded by mountains and bordered by a river. Elephant Nature Park also provides shelter to hundreds of dogs, cats, buffalo’s, horses, and pigs. Visits to the park help support our regional projects and offer invaluable opportunities to help elephants and other animal conservation.

Enjoy a full-day visit to Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai. Park visits are about spending quality time observing and being with the herd. We do not adhere to a strict schedule and do not allow bathing with the elephants. To make the most out of your visit, we recommend to relax, observe, and learn from the elephants.
